INTERNEXA has an aerial fiber optic network of 1,181 kilometers, located between the V and the VIII Region. This fiber optic network allows for handling of the cities of Valparaiso, Viña del Mar, Santiago, Rancagua, Talca and Concepción. The fiber optic network is equipped with DWDM and SDH cutting edge equipment of last generation.
These DWD equipments with an ultimate capacity of 40 lambdas of 10 GB use ROADM technology, enabling greater flexibility and faster response times when enabling new services.
On this transport network, layer 2 and layer 3 networks have been implemented with MPLS and IP technological equipment which diversify the service portfolio.
In each of the cities served by this network, INTERNEXA has fully equipped facilities for the location of its customer´s equipment, offering them the security and respect they need. In these facilities, operators can access through the optical fiber in order to connect to the network.
