
INTERNEXA has a partnership representing 50% of TRANSNEXA, Ecuadorian company that provides transport services to major telecommunications operators in the country.
It has a 926 km long fiber optic network, over the high voltage power lines. It has a central ring linking the cities of Guayaquil and Quito, with DWDM and SDH equipment with STM-64 capacity. This network is integrated into the region through Jamondino (border with Ecuador) and Tulcán (border with Colombia), to the south of Machala (border with Peru) and Zorritos (border with Ecuador). On this transfer network, networks of layer 2 and layer 3 have been implemented with equipments of MPLS and IP technology which diversify the service portfolio.
